- It only uses complex carbs (no simple sugars) which maintain a consistent blood sugar level, unlike sports drinks with ingredients ending with “ose” ( glucose, fructose, sucrose, dextrose etc) which are simple sugars that spike the blood sugars levels.
- HEED contains a good cross section of electrolytes at the right level. Some drinks contain excessive amounts of electrolytes such as magnesium which the body can not absorb and end up causing intestinal problems.
