Just a quick word on last night’s seminar at Gymea.
I would firstly like to say that I am 45, and have run since I was in school.
Now, since a lung disease 12 years ago, I am a hack, whose only goal is to finish races. I have a permanently reduced lung capacity.
I started triathlon 4 years ago, and did the GC half last weekend (in 6 hours 15!!).
Anyway, being old, I have heard it all. Mostly from ‘experts’, particularly in the area of nutrition.
“….I heard from someone who made sense to me.”
Last night was the absolute first time, that I have heard form someone who made sense to me.
When Steve (right) spoke, my instant thoughts were “Thank Christ, someone knows about this stuff”.
I have tried to eat, then eat some more, just because the experts told me to.
They were wrong.
Last year I did Yepoon, in 6.53. I ate constantly, felt like shit, and took 5 days to be able to walk upright.
Did Tougher Course – Faster, Better & On No Training!
Last weekend I did a tougher course in 6.15, with only Hammer gels and Heed, and drove home to Sydney the next day. Sore for one day.
I had done virtually no training this year (unintentional, but work commitments…).
Hope the ‘experts’ can explain that!!!

Anyway, the point of this email is to say thanks.
Appreciate the seminar, and I will certainly be sticking to Steve’s logical (and proven) advice.
Not only is your product excellent, the advice was also fantastic.
Please say thank you to Steve for me. I enjoyed his talk tremendously.
Again, praise the bloody Lord. Someone not trying to convince me to feel bloated all the time!!
