Yep, Michelle is the World Champion not only in her Age Group, but overall.
Here’s a bit from her email me to just after the win in Canada.
“……….not only in my age group F25-29, but OVERALL!!!!! yes, that’s right!! World’s fastest Age Grouper! I’m absolutely stoked with it and really can’t quite believe it myself! it is really just unbelievable!!
In short, I had an average swim (in 11 degree water), but then rode and ran the fastest bike and run splits of all the females to win in 2:00:14hrs.
What’s more exciting is that it was a sprint finish so I only got it by 5 sec!”
